I have a Denon DVD-1740 and I am facing a lot of problems. For one it does not play most of the dvds from the rental stores even the originals. Secondly, I think it heats up as half way through the movie it starts getting stuck and the image gets pixalated. Would recommend the cheaper alternative definitely.
